How we intend to show up

  • Together

In a divided world, we build bridges.

  • Integrity

Same consideration for everyone. No insider track.

  • Excellence

You’ll get our best, because you deserve it.

  • Safe

    Understanding, not judgment. Full stop.

Each comes with a question we hold ourselves to. Read the full version, with our measures.

They’re not a funnel and they’re not ranked. Plenty of people will only ever use the first one, and that is a complete contribution.

Standing With Us

Launch Day Endorsers

Organizations lending their name and their community to help us prove that a broad base of public support already exists — live on thetiesfoundation.org starting September 1st.

You’re in Door 01 · Start the Conversation Change door

Door one · Start the Conversation

You’re the expert.

We’re a brand-new foundation with a great deal to learn, and the surest way to get this wrong would be to design a grant cycle in a room with no adoptees in it.

So we’re asking first — and we’re keeping the question small on purpose. One sentence is a complete answer. If you’d ever like to say more, we’ll ask again later, properly, with no rush.

You’re in Door 02 · Bring Someone In Change door

Door two · Bring Someone In

Lend a hand, an intro, or just an eye.

This is the low-commitment door, and we mean it sincerely. Some people want to give real hours. Some know exactly one person we ought to meet. Some just want to watch what we do for a while before deciding what they make of us.

All three are genuinely useful. The third one especially — a foundation that can’t stand being watched isn’t one worth supporting.

What sounds like you?

We’d rather begin by listening.

Whichever door you took — or if you took none and simply read to the end — thank you. Intercountry adoption is a lifelong story. The support should be too.
