The application is short and plain-spoken. There are no trick questions, no essays graded for polish, and no wrong reasons for wanting to go, heal, or learn. A real person reads every application.

How It Works

Here’s what to expect once applications open.

Tell us what’s going on
In your own words, tell us what you need right now. We’ll match you to the right grant — Origin Journey ($2,500), Healing & Wholeness ($1,000), or Growth & Learning ($500).

We read it, carefully
A team connected to the adoptee community reviews every application. We may follow up with a question or two. Your story stays confidential — always, and never shared without your consent.

Funds go where they’re needed
Once approved, we work with you on timing and payment, sent directly to you. It’s yours to use. Afterward, a short check-in keeps us accountable to the people who made it possible — nothing bureaucratic. Want to thank a donor? That door’s open too, but never required.
Before You Apply
A few things worth knowing
You'll need about 15–20 minutes. You can be as brief or as full as you want - we're not measuring word counts. If writing about this brings up more than you expected, it's okay to save your progress and come back. The application isn't going anywhere.
Quick eligibility check: you're an adult intercountry adoptee (or a loved one supporting an adoptee's journey), and cost is a real barrier. Details are on What We Do.
